JCCS Academic Language Assessment Week 22

In my opinion, felons should not be aloud to vote because they were opened to a complex life and they ruined that by committing a crime. They probably wouldn't be a good source into changing our nation anyways because when they committed a crime it shows that they aren't responsible enough. Now if someone has made a big change while being in prison, they should have the right to vote because everyone has the right to vote. For the felons that haven't made a change or haven't made an effort into changing should obviously lose that right. Using them as a source into changing our nation is just a bad idea. Their mentality is probably not the best for our nation anyways.

  1. How would judges evaluate whether or not felons had made the change so they could be allowed to vote?

  2. Judges can evaluate by watching them daily as they do already but this person has made it known that they're trying to change it would make it easier for them to evaluate.
