JCCS Academic Language Assessment Week 27- Drug Sniffing Dogs

I think that school officials should not have the right to use drug sniffing dogs during school time. For example, I think that it's a bit traumatizing if a dog finds your drugs. In addition, it's pretty embrarassing to get caught in front of the whole class. Also, the dogs can ASSUME that there are drugs in your bag but there really isn't any. They RESPOND to any type of smell that they're trained to smell. Maybe if someone spills marijuana in there bag in the past and a dog comes to the class and catches her bag, she'll get searched for no reason. In conclusion, I think that the PROCESS of bringing dogs and stoping the class so the dogs can sniff around the class is a waist of class time.
